Ashton Warnke was at her area Walmart in Cullman Alabama doing a little shopping before the 4th of July when she came across something she could hardly believe, Miley Cyrus, her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth and friends shopping for swimwear!
“We heard her accent and knew it must be her. They were just looking at bathing suits,” Warnke says. “I walked up to her and said, ‘Excuse me, are you Miley Cyrus?’ She smiled and said yes, and I asked if we could get a picture. She smiled and let my mom take our picture.”
Wait till Perez Hilton catches wind of this story! Warnke was pretty proud of her run in with the famous singer. She posted as much via her Facebook page in a status that was as American as anything written on the internet over the holiday weekend.

The only things missing that could have made that more American would be Mellencamp’s “Little Pink Houses” playing on the Walmart radio or a video of Aretha Franklin singing “America the Beautiful” at Wrestlemania playing on the flat-screens across the back of the store:
Warnke went on to say that Miley was very considerate and that:
“You could tell she didn’t want a lot of people to see she was there. They were just hanging out in Walmart like normal teenagers would be. Her boyfriend was videotaping her, and they were with another guy and girl. She was nice, but she just wanted to be a normal person and shop.”
