Meryl Streep’s daughters star in new fashion ad — who are they?

Meryl Streep's daughters - Mamie Gummer, Grace Gummer and Louisa Gummer

Meryl Streep’s daughters are stepping into the spotlight, thanks to a new fashion campaign for & Other Stories.

In the photos for H&M’s sister brand, Mamie Gummer, Grace Gummer and Louisa Gummer pose in light button-down shirts, jeans and loafers — a look that’s reminiscent of the 1970s, when their mom looked basically identical to them.

If you think the girls seem familiar and not just because of their resemblance to Meryl, it may be because they’re all active in the entertainment industry. (Even brother Henry Wolfe Gummer is a musician!)

Mamie Gummer

Mamie, 31, is perhaps best-known for starring in The CW’s short-lived Emily Owens, M.D. and Shonda Rimes’ Off the Map as another doctor, Mina Minard. More recently, she’s appeared in multiple episodes of The Good Wife as Nancy Crozier. She is also starring alongside her mom in Diablo Cody’s upcoming movie, Ricki and the Flash.

“In a film loaded with music and live performance, Streep stars as Ricki, a guitar heroine who gave up everything for her dream of rock-and-roll stardom, but is now returning home to make things right with her family,” Sony Entertainment says of the movie. “Streep stars opposite her real-life daughter Mamie Gummer, who plays her fictional daughter.”

Grace Gummer

Like her older sister, Grace, 28, went into acting after graduating from college. Her biggest roles have come within the past few years on The Newsroom (as Hallie Shea), Extant (as Julie Gelineau) and American Horror Story… Although you may not recognize her for the latter role without her snake-skin tattoos.

Grace told Refinery 29 this year that having family members in the biz made it easier for her to get involved, at least from an emotional standpoint.

“We’re a really close family, so we talk about everything,” she explained. “I think as any other family would sit down and give each other advice about life and work, we definitely do since we know the business that we’re in. It’s easier to talk about it with each other.”

Louisa Gummer

Louisa, 23, followed in Grace and their mom’s footsteps by attending Vassar. However, she’s breaking away from their path by pursing modeling. Since graduating in 2013, she’s signed with IMG Models and has done campaigns for Dior.

In 2011, Meryl said she had mixed feelings about her oldest daughters going into acting.

“I am proud that my daughters want to do this. But I am also frightened for them, too. Because when criticism comes your way as an actor they are not criticizing your writing or your painting or your piece, they are criticizing you,” she told The Talks. “It is hard to put that away in a place where you are not hurt by it and that is my fear for them. But I would never say don’t do it, because I think it is a glorious profession and I am so thankful for everything it has let me express.”
