MBFFL Jessica Powell and Isaiah Martin divorced; he welcomes a baby boy
My Big Fat Fabulous Life couple Jessica Powell and Isaiah Martin are officially done. Starcasm can exclusively confirm Jessica and Isaiah divorced in June.
According to court records, Isaiah filed for divorce on April 9. The filing indicates Isaiah and Jessica “separated on or about March 16, 2025.” Since that time, the parties “continuously lived separate and apart from each other, and at no time have they resumed the marital relationship which formerly existed between them.”
Court filings indicate Jessica was served but failed to make an appearance in the case. As a result, Isaiah was granted the dissolution on June 10.
“The bonds of matrimony which have existed between the parties are dissolved and the plaintiff is granted an Absolute Divorce from the defendant,” reads the judgment for absolute divorce.
Whitney Way Thore’s trainer Jessica and Isaiah were married on April 16, 2022. Wedding preparation and the ceremony were featured on My Big Fat Fabulous Life. Below is an extended clip from TLC:
ISAIAH MARTIN WELCOMES A BABY BOY
It appears Isaiah was able to move on from Jessica relatively quickly because he shared photos this week of his newborn baby boy.
“Changed instantly,” Isaiah wrote on a photo of himself holding the baby. “My twin 🤞🏽,” he added.
Isaiah’s son’s mom looks to be a woman named Deojanae. She collaborated with Isaiah on an Instagram photo gallery of their baby. “My Sweetest Little Love, My Greatest Blessing🩵,” she wrote in the caption.
Online records indicate Deojanae is a 28-year-old former track star from western North Carolina. We don’t have much more information about her, or her relationship with Isaiah, at this time.
(On July 1, Isaiah posted photos wearing a suit at a wedding venue in Pennsylvania. Deojanae’s family doesn’t look to be from Pennsylvania, so it seems unlikely they were the ones getting married.)
