Not long ago rumors surfaced that Britney Spears would be performing a cover of Madonna’s “Burning Up” on her upcoming Femme Fatale Tour and now those rumors have all but been confirmed as a leaked studio version of Britney performing the song has hit the internet!
Since Britney uses pre-recorded tracks for her concert performances it makes sense that there would be a studio version out there if the song is slated to make the set list during the tour. And if there was a studio version then chances are it was gonna be leaked!
The song was originally on Madonna’s debut album and was her second officially released single after the first single “Everybody” became a dance hit. The song even had a video, which of course we were able to dig up for you!
The rumor mill being what it is some are speculating that a Madonna cameo during Britney’s tour is all but inevitable now. Sounds good to me!
