Kenya Moore debuts Gone With The Wind Fabulous music video
The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s new star Kenya Moore has drawn her fair share of criticism from cast mates and fans this season, but one thing even her detractors cannot deny — she certainly has a great sense of humor! The former Miss USA and aspiring singer appeared on Watch What Happens Live! last night and debuted the music video for her single “Gone With the Wind Fabulous,” which takes a sarcastic stab at Kenemies Porsha Stewart, Phaedra Parks, and ex Walter — as well as Kenya herself.
The video starts off with an extended scene between Kenya and a drag queen version of Porsha Stewart (above), who winds up being blown into a swimming pool due to the Wonder Womanesque spinning of Kenya and the resulting fabulous wind.
After that, the song kicks in as Kenya sings to the haters from the patented little Housewives club stage. “You say I’m fake, I say I’m fabulous, you say I’m old, I say I’m fabulous … you say I’m crazy, I say I’m fabulous … now twirl, now twirl, twirl, twirl…”
She then moves on to making fun of herself making fun of Phaedra Parks when a lady in a large hat and rather unfortunate mesh swimsuit enters a church:
Kenya makes light of her own statements saying she is often mistaken for Beyonce by recreating the look of Bey’s “All the Single Ladies” music video (and later autographing a photo of herself with the name “Keyonce”):
Next up is Kenya’s ex boyfriend (though he has since disputed that fact) Walter, who is portrayed in the video as being rather flamboyant (Kenya has said multiple times that he is actually gay) driving a tow truck for Lil’ Dick’s Towing and Ho-ing:
Walter is also seen reading a copy of Douchebag magazine, which has a striking resemblance to starcasm’s Douche Bagazine, right down to the font used on the title!
Ahhh… You just can’t make a magazine about douchebags without Spencer Pratt!
The end of the video wraps up with Kenya Moore dancing with kids in the street, all of which are “Gone With the Wind Fabulous!” (A brilliant move because now if Kenya’s cast mates or other haters insult the video in its entirety, Kenya can say it was unfair to the wonderful kids who participated in it!)
So what did you think of the latest addition to the Real Housewives music video canon?
