Katy Perry’s “Firework” dedicated to “It Gets Better” campaign
Katy Perry took to her Twitter account and let the now self proclaimed reformed blogger Perez Hilton know that her song “Firework” and accompanying video is dedicated to the “It Gets Better” campaign.
The “It Gets Better “campaign has featured a who’s who list of celebrities including President Barack Obama in video spots letting gay, lesbian and transgender teens know that life gets better after high school. The clips began in response to an epidemic of gay teen suicides happening throughout the country as a result of bullying.
Here is what Perry tweeted:
Shortly after tweeting this message Perez, who proclaims to have been inspired to change his own bullying ways, posted a full version of the video to his blog! I’m not sure if Katy pushed this through to make a point because there is no official HD version via her website or YouTube channel. Well anyways, here is Katy Perry’s “Firework” full length video:
That certainly is an explosive video by the newly wedded Mrs Brand. Katy’s most recent tweet states that her grandmother is her firework:
“The firework in my life is my grandmother. She raised me and taught me everything about life. She is one extraordinary woman.” – Katy Perry
That’s sweet and I would like Mrs. Brand to know that my firework is the trend of Katy having stuff shooting out from her breasts in her videos!
