John Stamos thanks his fans following DUI, arrest, hospital stay
Less than twenty-fours after Uncle Jesse was arrested for DUI out in Beverly Hills, he’s back home and apologetic. John Stamos was arrested late last night for driving under the influence. Police pulled him over and arrested him, but then released him into the custody of paramedics who took him to the hospital for an undisclosed issue.
The 51-year-old actor, who will reprise the beloved role of Uncle Jesse in the upcoming Fuller House reboot, immediately tweeted out a series of thank yous:
Thanks to everyone for their love & support. I’m home & well. Very appreciative of the BHPD & Cedars for their care.

John Stamos will be in court to answer the DUI charges on September 11.
In addition to co-starring in Fuller House, Stamos will co-produce the series for Netflix. The actor has been up-front about his drinking problems in the past; in a 2007 interview, Stamos admitted that his strange, erratic behavior on an Australian talk show earlier that year was not due to jet lag, but was because he was drunk at the time.
It’s not yet known whether Stamos was admitted to the hospital because of a dangerously high level of alcohol, or for some other ailment.
