Former Real Housewives of New York City star Jill Zarin was involved in a serious car accident this afternoon. According to reports, she was unconscious on the scene before being taken to a hospital.
Radar Online spoke with a source close to Jill who reveals the 51-year-old reality star was with her publicist heading to promote her new Syfy movie, Night of the Wild, when their vehicle “crashed into a three-car pile up.”
Although the car Jill was in was reportedly only going 30 miles per hour, another source reveals that Jill was not wearing her seatbelt.
The accident happened on the FDR around 1PM. After being hospitalized, Jill was reportedly back home by 3 PM and was “suffering from back pain and slight tingling down her spine,” according to Radar. Jill told the site, “The lesson from all of this is always wear your seatbelt!”

UPDATE – Jill’s assistant Maggie posted an update on Facebook. “Hi everyone this is Jill’s media assistant, Maggie. Jill is doing well and resting after the car accident this morning.”
