Flipping Out’s Jenni Pulos gets engaged to Jonathan Nassos, orthopedic surgeon from Chicago
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak wasn’t the only Bravolebrity with some good matrimonial news this weekend! In addition to Kim’s nuptials, Flipping Out star (and world-class rapper) Jenni Pulos announced on Twitter that her man, Dr. Jonathan Nassos, popped the question earlier today!
Here’s Jenni’s tweet:
Today is a beautiful day. The man I love has asked me to be his wife.
I instantly had my doubts that any man out there, aside from Andy Cohen’s long-lost straight brother, was worthy of taking this Bravolicious Watch What Happens theme song writer’s hand in marriage, so I did a little research to discover just who this Mr. Pulos is.
As it turns out, the future Mr. Pulos is actually the future Dr. Pulos! Dr. Jonathan Nassos is an orthopedic surgeon from Chicago who sort of looks like Mark Consuelos. (Perhaps this is Andy Cohen’s long-lost straight borther!) Here’s some background info on Jonathan from the G&T Sports Medicine website:
Jonathan Nassos is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries, including arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement, and orthopaedic trauma. He greatly values the individual needs of each patient and is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to his patients. He received his bachelor’s degree with from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, his M.D. from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Loyola University Medical Center. Following residency, he completed an orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship at the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California. During his time there, he was an assistant team physician for the Los Angeles Lakers, Dodgers, Kings, Sparks, and Anaheim Ducks. He has been active in research; presenting his research at both national and international scientific meetings. Dr.Nassos is currently on the medical staff at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital and Alexian Brothers Medical Center. He enjoys running, basketball, and golf.
And Jenni Pulos! I have to concede that, contrary to my expectations, I absolutely approve of the good doctor. This here is a mutual nice catch 🙂 I do have one small problem though – If Jenni does tie the knot and decides to go the hyphenated surname route, she will be Jenni Pulos-Nassos. That name would make for a few funny rap rhymes, but the novelty would certainly wear off rather quickly.
Something that won’t wear off quick? These two lovebird’s obvious affection for each other! Here they are glowing brighter than the Chicago skyline:
Congrats to Jenni and Jonathan! I can’t wait for the season premiere of Jenni Getting Married?
(I just know Jenni is loving that I used that older photo of Jonathan with his athletic “blow out” hairdo. Sorry Jonathan.)
