Jared Fogle wins $180,000 against child porn partner after sick texts revealed

Disgraced former Subway pitchman Jared Fogle has won a hefty lawsuit against a former employee.

According to court documents, Fogle sued Russell Taylor over repayment of a nearly $200,000 loan he provided so that Taylor could purchase a home. Fogle accused Taylor of failing to pay him back and the court agreed. Fogle will now have the option to sell the home in an attempt to recoup the $184,000 he’s still owed.

Russell Taylor was the first domino to fall in the investigation that eventually led to the arrest of Fogle for distribution and receipt of child pornography and traveling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor. Taylor is currently serving 27 years for child porn and child exploitation.

Last week, prosecutors released a number of disgusting texts sent by Fogle as part of their case against his current appeal. Among the texts in the docs:

“I can pay you a little finder’s fee. I’ll pay you big for a 14- or 15-year old.”

“Depends, on, if they can prove their age. If they can and you get me 16 or below, I’ll give you 400 at least.”

“Do you have any access to any young girls? Like 15 or 16? Cause it’s what I crave! … I would hook you up nicely if you did.”

The filing from the prosecutors added: “A fair review of the record shows that the district court clearly sentenced Fogle only for his own concrete conduct, which was very serious….The district court did not abuse her discretion in choosing to sentence Fogle above the applicable guidelines range.”
