Disgraced former Subway pitchman Jared Fogle got pummeled in a Colorado prison.
According to docs obtained by TMZ, 60-year-old inmate Steven Nigg jumped Fogle in the rec yard at Englewood Prison. While he had Fogle pinned to the ground, Nigg unleashed a number of punches to Fogle’s face. Fogle, who pleaded guilty in federal court to possessing child pornography and traveling to pay for sex with minors, was left with a swollen face, bloody nose, and scratches on his neck.
Nigg, who is serving time for a gun conviction related to a decades-old crime spree, suffered no injuries except for cutting up his hand with Fogle’s face.
Nigg’s family wasn’t surprised by the news. They said that Nigg hates the fact that a number of child sex predators are housed at the low-security facility.
