Florida meth makers busted by butt dial

Florida-Meth-Makers

A trio of Florida meth makers find themselves behind bars thanks to an incidentally incriminating 911 butt dial.

Jason Knope, Donna Knope and Thomas Stallings were arrested and charged with manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine after the accidental call led authorities to their shed turned meth lab in the city of Deltona.

The police operator waited patiently on the line and overhead the criminals “talking about making and selling methamphetamine.” The operator also detected a bubbling noise as if something was cooking.

When the police arrived at the residence of Donna Knope and her son Jason Knope they discovered a shed in the back. When they peered in through a window the authorities noticed signs of an active meth lab including white smoke coming from the structure.

A search yielded “all of the makings of an active meth lab, including coffee filters, a butane torch, batteries, drain opener, plastic tubing, hypodermic needles, lithium strips, lighter fluid, plastic bags and numerous plastic bottles containing a white substance,” according to a police report obtained by TSG.

The cops do not know which one of the 3 accidentally tipped them off.
