Eileen Davidson quits Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because of ‘crazy schedules’

Eileen Davidson quits Real Housewives of Beverly Hills RHOBH

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills continues its cast shakeup! Just a couple months after Eden Sassoon announced she would not be returning for Season 8, Eileen Davidson has confirmed she will also be exiting to focus on her soap opera acting jobs.

“After a lot of thought, because of my crazy scheds at YR and Dool, I’ve decided it’s best for me and my fam to step away from being a housewife for now,” Eileen posted on Instagram, along with a photo of herself and Andy Cohen. “But ya never know! I might be popping in to see what the ladies are up to from time to time! Thanks for your love and support guys!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

Eileen’s statement got a slight makeover for its official release, which came via Bravo’s The Daily Dish:

After a lot of careful thought, I’ve decided because of my crazy schedules at The Young and The Restless, as well as Days of Our Lives, it’s best for me and my family if I step away from being a Housewife for now.

And then here’s the Twitter version, getting the 144 characters or less contraction tweetment:

Eileen’s announcement comes less than 24 hours after the RHOBHiverse freaked out over a photo shared by show OGs Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof in which they could be seen in Las Vegas with the rest of the cast as well as Teddi Jo Mellencamp, daughter of John Cougar Mellencamp. Of course, the rumor fires only spread more rapidly due to the fact that the picture LOOKS like a Real Housewives cast photo! Check it out:

“Hot Night in Vegas!” Camille captioned the photo, while Adrienne wrote “What happens in Vegas…..?” Adrienne followed up her photo posting by retweeting several folks openly wondering if she would be returning for Season 8 — but no confirmation either way. (You can’t spell Maloof without “aloof” amirite?)

I confess I would be excited to see Adrienne back on the show, and I enlisted long ago in the Camillitary and would LOVE to see CG back in the BH! My guess is that Bravo is kind of feeling things out and seeing how the two OGs do on camera and how their story lines play before making any final decisions. As usual, we will all have to wait and see.
