Dustin Diamond allegedly threatened to stab man over Smirnoff Ice dispute — before attacking another bar patron

Dustin Diamond Smirnoff Ice

Before he allegedly stabbed a Wisconsin bar patron last Christmas, Saved By the Bell‘s Dustin Diamond reportedly threatened the same fate upon another guy who refused to chug a Smirnoff Ice.

The new details came out this week when the Ozaukee County District Attorney introduced charges against the actor best-known as “Screech.” According to the motion obtained by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Dustin randomly approached a man at a bar who was watching a basketball game with friends. Dustin presented the guy with a bottle of Smirnoff Ice and instructed “You’ve been iced. Get on your knees and drink this.”

The man refused to drink it, but both Dustin and his girlfriend, Amanda Schutz, were persistent. The other guy said Dustin eventually walked to the middle of the bar and made a loud statement to the effect of “don’t make me stab someone on Christmas.” The other man and his friends decided to leave the bar to avoid further confrontation.

Dustin and Amanda later continued to another bar, where he is accused of stabbing another man with a switchblade. Dustin was charged with second-degree recklessly endangering safety, disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon. His attorney is trying to block the Smirnoff Ice story, saying the man only came forward days later and is unreliable. Dustin’s trial is scheduled for May 27.
