Dr. Luke sues Kesha’s attorney for saying he raped Lady Gaga
Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald is now suing the lawyer representing Kesha in her sexual assault claim against him after the attorney tweeted that the hit maker is also the man who raped Lady Gaga.
In an interview with Howard Stern last week, Lady Gaga revealed that she was raped by an unnamed record producer when she was 19. After the story broke, Mark Geragos tweeted out “guess who the rapist was” and “#namethepervert.” When a follower guessed Dr. Luke he replied “#bingo.”
Gaga told TMZ last week that it was not Dr. Luke who had sexually assaulted her. Now the producer has filed a defamation lawsuit against Geragos for his tweets, calling the accusations “maliciously false.” In the filing Luke says he hadn’t even met Gaga at the time of the alleged rape – adding that he has never been alone with or touched her.
When asked why he made the claim, Gregaros doubled down on his tweets saying “because it’s true.”
Kesha filed a lawsuit in October claiming that Luke had drugged and sexually assaulted her. Luke responded with his own lawsuit claiming that Kesha was extorting him. He later fired off another lawsuit against Kesha’s mom, Pebe Sebert, for defamation and extortion.
