Does Bethenny Frankel have cancer?
Last month, Bravo released the trailer for the new season of The Real Housewives of New York. In the two-minute long clip, we become introduced to newbie Housewife Julianne Weinstein, get to see the first glimpse of LuAnn’s fiancé Thomas D’Agostino, and are alarmed to learn Bethenny is dealing with a major health scare.
After the trailer aired, Bethenny revealed to People that she’s “facing a women’s health issue that many women can relate to.”
The ambiguous statement caused speculation as to the exact cause of her health concerns. Rumors began swirling that she had cancerous fibroids removed.
Details on Bethenny’s condition are still unknown at this time, but no doubt her health journey will be part of her storyline this season.
Bethenny recently stopped by Entertainment Tonight to discuss the new season of the RHONY and calm the concerns of worried fans questioning her condition.
“I don’t have cancer. I don’t even like that that word is sort of out there,” Bethenny confirmed.
“I have a couple of different female issues going on at the same time that have created kind of the perfect storm, so I am dealing with it,” Bethenny admitted.
While she didn’t elaborate further, she did touch on the way her health scare has impacted her as a mother.
“It’s really important to stay strong for my daughter,” she said. “If you have a health issue, and you have a child, it makes you think all these different things you would never normally think.”
