Countess LuAnn de Lesseps releases “Chic C’est La Vie” music video featuring Jill and Kelly
The wait is over! The Real Housewives of New York City‘s Countess LuAnn de Lesseps has finally released her follow up music video to her cult classic “Money Can’t Buy You Class!” The song is titled “Chic C’est La Vie” and the video features LuAnn and her Team The Countess cast mates Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon living the lifestyles of the rich and famous in and around The Borgota hotel and casino in Atlantic City.
During the video, which has a sort of “elegant” Night at the Roxbury SNL skit feel, the trio play roulette, sip drinks poolside, ride in a limo and party in the lounge area of The Borgota night club – all while keeping their heads bobbing, hips swaying and fingers snapping.
According to PopEater LuAnn extended an invitation to fellow cast members Ramona Singer, Cindy Barshop, Alex McCord and Sonja Morgan (all of which are name dropped in the song) but they all declined:
“It was very disappointing that the other ladies wouldn’t be part of it. The other girls didn’t come, they didn’t think it was appropriate. I didn’t want anyone to feel like they were being excluded so I invited everyone. And let’s face it, I sing about them in the song,” LuAnn told [Rob Shuter] at a Life & Style magazine party. “They said it was not the right image they wanted to portray and I was like ‘excuse me, not the right image?’ Who goes out without their panties, another rubs her husbands naked chest on the show, please.”
Those New York housewives – they can’t do anything without drama!
So what do you think of the new video? Does it rival the greatness of “Money Can’t Buy you Class?”
Here are a couple still images of LuAnn to help you decide…
