This shocking example of oversight was right down the street from my house. How in the world does something like this happen without someone somewhere allowing it to happen?
My guess is that the billboard company (in this case Lamar) takes the orders and fills available slots without thinking about what signs are beside each other, and then the guy(s) hanging it said, “They told me to put this here and that’s what I’m gonna do!” Otherwise, there is someone out there with a seriously twisted sense of humor and little concern for keeping his job!
