The hottest actors and singers are rolling in millions for their work, but their most lucrative paychecks can come from advertising campaigns. Beyonce topped the list of the Hollywood Reporter‘s highest earning celebrities with a $50 million payday from Pepsi. Robert Downey Jr. was the only star to tie with her, raking in $50 million for the third Iron Man movie. Cameron Diaz comes in third because she was able to snag a $42 million for Bad Teacher by taking only $1 million upfront, so she could get a bigger cut of the backend. George Clooney followed close behind with $40 for his Nespresso ads.

Clooney told The Guardian that he’s spent his hefty Nespresso paycheck on a spy satellite to keep taps on Omar Al-Bashir, a Sudanese dictator charged with war crimes at The Hague.

The ads don’t appear in the United States, so here’s one for the U.S. audience:

There are several stars in the $20 million per film club, including Angelina Jolie for the upcoming Salt 2, Denzel Washington for 2 Guns, Daniel Craig if he does another James Bond, Leonardo DiCaprio for Wolf of Wall Street, the main Harry Potter kids for the last film, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart for the last Twilight film. Robert Pattinson also got a $13 million for Dior for a three-year campaign contract.
