The first part of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 2 reunion was explosive just 10 minutes into it when Danielle asked this one question of Teresa: “Did you acknowledge your nephew?”
After that Teresa flew into a wild rage and even threw down Andy Cohen when he tried to restrain her. Click here to watch Teresa in action. After everyone calmed down the topic wasn’t broached again, which left the audience wondering what it all meant. Who is Teresa’s nephew, and why would the mere mention of him turn her into a category 5 hurricane?
Today there’s a suspicious blind item circulating that may offer some clues. Via blindgossip.com:
Magilla and Shrilla are hairy, grunting, inarticulate, chest-beating gorillas with sub-human IQs. We wonder if the cameras were rolling when Shrilla found out that Magilla was mating with another. We do know that Shrilla is really freaking out behind the scenes now that so many of their secrets are being laid out on the table. Like the fact that Magilla now has the masculine monkey child he always wanted.
There general consensus on the internet is that this blind item is about Joe and Teresa, mainly because the clues are so obvious they literally pound you on the head. First of all Teresa’s hairline and Joe’s general facial structure resembles a monkey-like appearance, “cameras were rolling” hints at the reality show, “laid out on the table” refers to Teresa’s famous table-flipping incident. As for the “masculine monkey child,” that’s news to everyone, but “masculine child” can be a Godfather reference because of Joe and Teresa’s deep Italian roots.
There is no direct evidence that Joe fathered a child with another woman, but things seem to point in that direction. A source told Absurd to Sublime that Danielle had a P.I. follow the Manzos and Giudices, and that P.I. discovered that Joe has a girlfriend named Tara G., who also happens to have a baby. She also reportedly has photos of Joe and herself together, attends lavish parties in designer gowns, and is completely supported by Joe. If that’s true, it could be part of why they’re so deeply in debt. It also might help explain why Teresa publicly denies the reported Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrum credit card balances. Maybe she’s not the one who racked them up!
As for the “nephew” part, there is some speculation that the baby Joe might have fathered could possibly be with one of Teresa’s sisters, making him her nephew. (YOWZA!) There’s only one problem with that: Tree doesn’t have any sisters!
Another perspective of the nephew situation comes from PopEater’s Rob Shuter, he has a source telling him “Danielle accusing her co-star of not visiting a nephew in the hospital at his birth. I’m told Teresa was at the hospital when the child was born last April, and that he’s perfectly fine and beautiful.” UPDATE: Considering what went down at Teresa’s nephew’s christening, it looks like this, or something close to this is what happened, but the problem goes very deep within the family.
Teresa also tells PopEater that Danielle made up the rumor about “Tara G.” and that Real Houswife from the OC Tamra Barney, who had dinner with Joe and Teresa the night he got a DWI, was confused for “Tara.” Teresa added: “It’s totally false. Trust me, Joe gets enough love IN our marriage, he doesn’t need to look anywhere else. Unlike Danielle, I know how to keep a real man happy!”
In other Teresa news, she’s demanding Bravo to bring Jersey Shore-type moola for her to show up for filming Season 3 starting September 3. The Jersey Shore kids currently command $30k per episode, so Bravo would be really setting a big precedent for their Real Housewives paychecks. On the other hand, will they be able to make a dramatic and watchable show with both Danielle and Teresa gone? Let’s face it, Caroline and Laurita are snooze-fests next to those two.
