Kanye West recently announced that he was changing the title of his new album from Swish to Waves, and fellow hip hop artist Wiz Khalifa responded with disappointment, pointing out that “waves” is a style of music credited to his musical inspiration, Max B.
As you are probably aware, Kanye West does not take criticism well, and he has since been on a 18-hour tirade against Wiz that includes claims that Wiz “let a stripper trap” him (in reference to Kanye’s ex, and mother of Wiz’s child, Amber Rose) and that Kanye is the reason Wiz has a child. There are also numerous references to fashion and, of course, the usual over-dosage of Kanye ego.
