Jennifer Lopez’s camp has put on a full court press with the press in announcing via “inside sources” that the American Idol judge and boyfriend Casper Smart have split.
Numerous sites, including the almost always reliable People, all report today that the couple are on the outs with each citing sources close to the star who are all pretty much saying the same thing.

“They initially split about six weeks ago, but that can take a little time to extricate. But they’ve definitely broken up. The relationship had just run its course. Jennifer is actually doing really well and working hard.”
Speculation has circulated recently that Smart had cheated on Lopez with a transgender model that he met online. Sources that have surfaced today are insisting that this is not accurate.

“The scandal had nothing to do with it. He insists none of that is true and she believes him.”
Lopez (44) and Smart (27), a former backup dancer turned choreographer, were first identified as an item back in November of 2011. This came just 4 months after Lopez separated from her 3rd ex-husband, Marc Anthony.
