Taylor Armstrong and her lawyer boyfriend John Bluher hit the red carpet last night for the first time as a couple. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star took her beau along with her to OK! magazine’s Annual Pre-Oscar Party and they looked as happy as could be posing together for photos.
Taylor and John appeared as though they coordinated their looks a bit — her with a black and white cocktail dress and him with a black and white polka dot tie.
Fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have been introduced to Bluher this season on the show, including an off camera scene in which John Bluher flew Taylor off for an impromptu romantic getaway. (Taylor explained on the phone to Kim Richards that she would be missing Kim’s “new nose coming out party” and seemed inebriated at the time. Taylor then shocked Kim and Kyle when she revealed she didn’t know that her daughter Kennedy was with them at the time.)
At the end of last year, after several months of speculation, John confirmed that he was dating Taylor in an article with the Sacramento Bee. “I can confirm that Taylor Armstrong and I are in a romantic relationship, and we are both very happy,” he said.
Regarding reports that John had abandoned his family to be with Taylor, he said, “Taylor was not involved in the issues that resulted in the dissolution of my marriage, nor was she the reason for my divorce.”
Just last month, Taylor also spoke out about their relationship telling OK! Magazine, “I never believed that I would be as happy as I am now. This year I have a new love of my life.”
Although Taylor would definitely consider walking down the aisle again, she says this time around she’s going to take things slow. “Someday, I’d love my daughter to see what a healthy marriage looks like,” Taylor explained, “And to be a better role model for her in the way of relationships.”
Once the two confirmed their relationship, rumors surfaced that Taylor considered quitting the show in order to be closer to him, but she denied the claims. It may all be moot because there are new reports which claim Taylor may be getting the boot anyway.
