Chad Stahl’s was absolutely devastated when Mindy, the mother of his three children, was killed in a fire just months after they were married. Seeking a way keep her memory alive, Stahl decided to get a depiction of her face tattooed on his arm. Unfortunately, the results were notoriously disastrous and it has since gone on to be called “The World’s Worst Tattoo.”
Stahl recently decided to visit Empire Ink in Ohio to see if the tattoo could be fixed. At first, tattoo artist Scott Versago couldn’t believe his eyes — just like millions of others, he had seen the image online before. Touched by Stahl’s story, Versago generously offered to fix the tattoo for free.
“Now he has closure and I have an amazing story to add to my portfolio,” Versago wrote on Reddit.
So, was Versago able to fix it? Did Stahl finally get an appropriate memorial for his beloved wife? You can be the judge, but I’d sure say it was a success!
