American Horror Story: Apocalypse Season 8 premieres tonight and it’s a bit of a game changer. Not only does the season tie all the previous seasons together but it resets the entire world they’re working with by (almost) ending it. In an apocalyptic disaster there is always the chance that some survivors will be left behind to rebuild the world.
Now that the first episode is here, we finally know how the world ends “18 months from today.” The question is what happens after the end of the world as we know it?
“No need for rules anymore, the chaos has won.”
That’s right – this doomsday scenario is a nuclear war. Los Angeles elite are busy living their best life striving to be Instagram influencers and putting up with burnt champagne when a real nuclear war breaks out. Ballistic missiles have already hit other major U.S. cities and there is one headed straight at Hollywood.
Some of the richest people are taken care of. There is a secret, safe location, which turns out to be Outpost 3, they can reach by plane while the rest of the world burns.
