After winning a VMA for Best Female Video earlier in the show and having her acceptance speech broken off by the egotistic Kanye West, Taylor Swift was given a second season by Beyonce, who might want to change her name to Sasha Classy. Beyonce took home the biggest award of the night, Video of the Year, and here is her acceptance speech:
I remember being 17 years old, up for my first MTV award with Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So, I’d like for Taylor to come out and have her moment.
How classy is that? (Humility and class is downright sexy don’t you think? Especially when it looks like Sasha Fierce in a fire engine red dress!)
That was a wonderful thing you did Beyonce – not just for Taylor Swift but for all the kids (and adults) watching the Awards at home.
