Teen Mom 2 preview clips for Kail Lowry and Leah Messer

Kail Lowry Javi Marroquin 2016

It’s time for our weekly Teen Mom 2 preview videos, but, unfortunately, we only get two instead of the usual four this week. In one clip, we see Kail FaceTiming with Javi, and it doesn’t appear as though either of them are dealing with his deployment very well. In the other, Corey Simms takes a complete 180 from last week’s legal ceasefire by filing yet another court motion in his custody battle with Leah — and of course Leah is not happy about it!

UPDATE – MTV has since shared two additional preview clips for Jenelle and Chelsea — just click the link to view those. It’s possible that MTV spread them out because there is no new Teen Mom 2 episode this week, and it won’t be back until May 16.

KAIL LOWRY
“A Tear-Filled Phone Call To Javi”

Kail gets a FaceTime call from Javi, and the conversation begins with Lincoln showing off his haircut and ring pop. Kail then moves on to thanking Javi for treating her and her gal pals to dinner and flowers the night before.

“You’re welcome,” says a shirtless Javi from bed. “Did you have fun?”

“Yeah, it was a lot of fun,” says Kail, adding that it was refreshing to have a night out with adults. “And we loved the flowers! That was so creative. I’ll give you kudos for that.”

“Well,” says a laughing Javi, “I wanted to get flowers for everybody just because –”

“Yeah, that was really sweet,” Kail interrupts. “All the girls really liked that.”

“You know, your friends also play a huge roll in our marriage, and how you deal with –”

“You?” Kail laughs. “Just kidding!”

“– me being gone,” Javi finishes. “So I just wanted to show them that I was appreciative of them too.”

“Yeah,” says Kail. “No, that was awesome. Thank you. it was a lot of fun.”

Javi shakes his head. “What’s the matter?” Kail asks. “Why are you shaking your head?”

“This place is just draining,” says Javi. “You’re like in a f***ing prison.”

Kail tries to keep it positive. “What can we do to help you have better days? Is there anything that we can do?”

“There’s nothing,” Javi replies. “It’s just — just sad. It’s the same thing every day.

“You know,” says Kail, “it gets hard with the conversation — it’s like you don’t know what to do. So, I’m just trying to figure out what I can do to help your days, but I don’t think that there’s anything that I can really do besides just reassure you that we’re going to get through this and time’s going to go by fast.”

An exasperated Javi rubs his head and says, “I don’t know.”

“Just don’t let it f*** with your head,” says Kail. “I feel like it’s messing with your head. You can’t let that happen.”

“Ok, I’m just letting you –”

“I know, it’s easier said than done,” Kail interjects. “I know.”

“I can’t go anywhere,” Javi says. “I don’t have anything here. I have my room. I eat, and I sleep to wake up again.”

Kail is quiet, and then hides her face as she begins to cry.

LEAH MESSER
“Leah Is Ready To Keep Fighting”

Leah’s clip starts with her exercising her much-maligned housekeeping skills as she vacuums her dining room. Her sister Victoria arrives, and Leah says: “Keeping this house clean is almost impossible!” She then turns off the vacuum cleaner and takes a seat with Victoria at the dining room table.

“So what’s new? Anything?” Victoria asks.

“Corey filed these papers. He turned around and filed an injunction to be the primary custodian. I spoke to him after the hearing, and everything went great!” (You can watch that conversation in last week’s preview clip here.) “You know, we were actually kind of communicating, and thought that we were going to –”

“Do better,” Victoria fills in.

“– be able to co-parent the way we used to,” Leah finishes.

“Yeah,” says Victoria. “The way you should, for the kids anyway.”

“Right,” says Leah. “Today I get his objection that West Virginia law does not recognize joint custodian.” Leah throws up her hands. “Who cares?” she asks rhetorically. “Why are you making a big deal out of nothing? I know plenty of parents that’s done joint custodian. You know, to be civil and because –”

“Technically that’s the way it’s supposed to be,” Victoria points out.

“Right!” Leah exclaims. “I mean, if you’re both good parents, then there should be nothing wrong. And then he says that he should be the primary custodian because they live — or, they go to school in his district and whatever else. No! OK, I do everything, so maybe I should be the primary custodian.”

“Why not just drop what you guys just did at court — just drop it, and just go from there. Why does it have to keep dragging out?”

“Because it’s a control thing,” says Leah. “Now it’s a control thing. He jumps into this family lifestyle and feels like he’s the better parent. He’s the more stable parent. He needs them.”

“So you guys are going to have to go back to court over these objections?” asks Victoria.

“That’s all I can do,” responds Leah. “But I really hope it comes to an end for my girls.”

“It needs to!”

“I really do,” Leah affirms.

“It does,” Victoria says. “It needs to. It’s immature. It’s stupid. You guys have been to court how many times?”

“To do what he’s done to my kids, I — I — I don’t — I don’t care if he takes another breath! And I don’t know what else to do. All I can do is fight against it. That’s all I can do.”

In lieu of a preview clip for Jenelle, here is a deleted scene featuring Nathan lamenting his struggles as he fights with Jenelle over custody of Kaiser:
