The latest Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble update lends creedence to the old saying “Kris Jenner never met a controversy she didn’t like.” The legendary Momager has been fighting two fronts for the past couple of days: one that says the sexagenarian and her 35-year-old alleged fiancé Corey Gamble are all but broken up, and another that’s seen the internet outraged over Kris’ flaunting of a fur coat.
The Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble breakup rumors are something rather new for the couple, who’ve been batting back talk of their apparent engagement for weeks. Kris has sported a giant bling ring since early autumn, and been coy about both its origins and purpose. And, just before Christmas, reports surfaced that she gave Gamble a whopping $2 million dollars in order for him to buy a specifically designed engagement ring and give it to her as his Christmas gift from him. Why all the hassle? According to insiders, Kris doesn’t trust Corey’s taste in jewelry or clothing.
Word on the street now, though, is that the pair are through. Allegedly, Kris let the news slip during her appearance as a guest on Bachelor Live, during a discussion of Amanda, this season’s single mother contestant. Kris said she could relate to Amanda, having once been a single mother of four; when host Chris Harrison interrupted to ask whether Kris was single now, the always-in-control Kardashian maven responded in the affirmative. The pair then joked, briefly, about whom Kris could date next.
It was actually a double blow for Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble, as that slip-up came just hours after a separate report alleging that Corey’s been sneaking around behind Kris’ back. Eyewitnesses apparently caught Corey hanging out with some gentle blonde ladies during he and Kris’ recent trip down to St. Barts’–and doing a lot more than just chilling, if the reports are to be believed. Things didn’t heat up for real, though, until Kris flew home early to be with son Rob during his most recent medical scare, and, after reports of his wandering eye (and possible wandering hands) emerged, Corey returned to LA, as well.
Of course, Kris thinks all the hubub over she and Corey allegedly splitting isn’t worth the time of day. Nor is the recent internet explosion over her new fur coat–pictured in both the photos in this post–which Kris has worn on several occasions (and posed in for photos she’s posted to her official Instagram account). Fans have begun questioning how compassionate she can claim to be while wearing what looks like an authentic fur coat.
And that, too, is not a real controversy, in Kris’ eyes. “Sources” close to KJ claim that she’s still with Corey; the pair are allegedly still working through the tricky KUWTK raise that Corey requires before he’ll marry Kris officially. Those same sources confirm that the fur is genuine fox: it’s a Dior piece from the 80s, and Kris is in love with it.
Reports that she rolled her eyes at nearby protesters while stepping out with Corey on Monday night could not be confirmed.
