Who is the dad of Black Ink Crew Chicago star Rachel’s 2nd child?

Black Ink Crew Chicago Ryan and Rachel

In the series premiere of VH1’s new hit reality series Black Ink Crew: Chicago, fans were introduced to 9Mag Ink owner Ryan Henry and his ex-girlfriend Rachel Leigh. In Rachel’s introduction, she explains that after she had Ryan’s son, the two broke up, and she had another child with a “signed artist.” She said his name, but VH1 bleeped it out. So, who is the father of Rachel’s second child? Of course the internet figured it out!

First, here is how Rachel introduced herself and her relationship with Ryan:

Ryan was my high school sweetheart. I thought me and Ryan would be together forever, but I found out Ryan was cheating. I immediately started dating somebody else to get him off of my mind. It worked. He is a signed artist. His name is ***BLEEEEP*** And then I ended up getting pregnant.

The guy was not supportive at all. We ended up breaking it off before I even gave birth. So Ryan stepped up to the plate. Ryan is not the birth father, but that’s definitely his daddy.

Black Ink Crew Chicago Rachel's baby daddy is singer Jeremih

Who is Rachel’s mysterious baby daddy? According to numerous reports, it is R&B singer Jeremih! The singer of hits like “Don’t Tell ‘Em,” “Birthday Sex” and “Hold You Down” revealed to Billboard last November that he was caught up in a custody battle with the father of his two-year-old son at the time:

I stopped caring about being Jeremih over the last few months. A lot of people don’t know I have a 2-year-old son. His mom wasn’t allowing me to see him, and it was messing with me. I was internally unbalanced. But I just got out of that trial and I won.

Jeremih

Jeremih’s paternity seems backed up by his comments on an Instagram photo posted by Ryan back in June. Ryan shared a photo of himself, Rachel, and her two boys in honor of Father’s Day, and wrote this lengthy description:

To keep bulls**t down, I keep my intimate personal away from social media as much as possible, but I have two kids. Not just one. My second son is not mine biologically, and I take nothing away from his father, but my son’s brother is treated as my son is, no question about it. Many won’t agree and bash me for just doing what God put in my path to HELP raise two great blessings, and I don’t care, yall ass can Die. My son will never be able to ask me “why did you do this for me and not my brother”.. They are one and the same. Realize people, our kids are not at fault for our youthful mistakes, so they don’t understand half brothers, step fathers sh!t. All they need to be is raised correctly by as many parental figures as possible. Peace to the fathers today, cuz I love my kids and let them know EVERYDAY for whenever I may leave this world. And f**k the Rest. Protector, Provider.

Jeremih responded with the comment, “damn i ain’t know u still work for the circus lol , U already know Canyon don’t need nothin from you but to be his brothers father . #happyfathersday”

Ryan came back to write, “@jeremih this was positive.. I don’t want no smoke with yall lol. [series of emjis] Happy you Day lil lady…”

New episodes of Black Ink Crew: Chicago air Monday nights at 9/8c on VH1.
