Chrissy Teigen may be one of the most beautiful women in the world, but she’s still that… A real woman, complete with the “perfect imperfections” husband John Legend crooned about in All of Me.
“Bruises from bumping kitchen drawer handles for a week,” Chrissy said about an Instagram picture of her sitting cross-legged in shorts. “Stretchies say hi!”
The supermodel was quickly applauded by many of her followers..
“This picture means so much to so many girls and women around the world who feel insecure about their marks,” one commented. “Thank you so much for sharing and showing that no matter how fit, thin, curvy, full bodied or whatever you are, we all have them!!”
“Ah thank you! I don’t know why this picture finally triggers for me to feel ok with having them,” another added. “I work hard to be healthy and still have them and it’s always kept me from being confident. Now I can’t wait to wear shorts and not care who sees it!”
This isn’t the first time Chissy’s taken a stand for body acceptance: After some speculated she gained weight last April, Chrissy fired back by saying, “In what other real life situation would you walk up to someone and tell them they’re fat or gained weight?” A couple of months later, she demonstrated how ridiculous the modeling industry can be by revealing she was fired from Forever 21 for being “fat.”
