Since a new season of True Tori isn’t currently airing, we haven’t heard much about Tori Spelling and her tumultuous marriage to husband Dean McDermott.
It’s one thing to watch the show having never met Tori but I wonder what it’s like watching the reality train wreck and knowing her personally?
We may have an answer to that.
Bad girl Shannen Doherty co-starred with Tori on Beverly Hills 90210. She was recently a guest on The Meredith Vieira Show and opened up about her thoughts on Tori putting it all out there for the world to see.
“I get uncomfortable at times watching it because I know her,” she admitted. “I kind of want to go, ‘No, no, no, no.’ But, who are we to judge anybody’s life and what they’re going through sand how they handle it? We all stumble and we all make mistakes and we all have our own process.”
Shannen went on to say what Tori has been hinting at for some time now– that the show is a form of therapy for her. “Putting it out there must be cathartic for her,” she said. “It’s her way of dealing with it, maybe that’s her form of therapy.”
“I think there is something very, for me, my heart breaks a little bit for her.”
