After years representing an idyllic family life on Oxygen’s Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, Tori Spelling is returning to reality television with a bigger dose of reality for Lifetime’s True Tori. Last year Tori was open about their money troubles, and wrote candidly in her latest book about how she’s lied to the media about things like how she’s lost baby weight.
Last last year a woman claimed to have had an affair with Dean McDermott in early December. The family responded to cheating rumors by posting a family New Year’s photo, but in January Dean checked into rehab. The couple landed this new reality series post rehab that will explore in detail the couple’s marriage troubles. In a new clip Dean admits that he cheated on Tori, while Tori laments that she could never meet his sexual demands.
“That’s my worst nightmare. I cheated on my wife. I was out of control,” Dean says. “Sex was an escape, just like drugs and alcohol.”
“I can never give him enough sex. He’s never gonna be happy with just me,” Tori responds.
“I am well aware this may not have a happy ending,” Tori says about her relationship at the end of the clip. The show will be happening almost in real time, unlike most reality shows, with a mere three weeks in between taping and air time.
True Tori airs Tuesday @ 10 EST on Lifestime starting April 22.
