Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville went under the knife earlier today to get a non-cancerous tumor removed from her breast. There for moral support was her longtime friend Jennifer Gimenez, who is talking to Starcasm exclusively about how the surgery went and how Brandi is doing now.
“Brandi is officially out of surgery,” Jenn announced to us just one hour ago. “I spoke to the doctor and I saw it [the tumor]. It was the size of a golf ball!” Wow, that’s massive — especially considering Brandi’s small frame. Thank god it wasn’t cancerous!
“I’m so relieved she’s ok,” Jenn adds. “I was crying as I saw her being taken for surgery. Now I’m crying for joy.”
After arriving home, Brandi filled her fans in on her progress via Twitter. “Just got home have 5 nurses: Mason, Jake, @JenniferGimenez, @DarinHarvey, and my ‘gaygent.’ size of golf ball :/ major pain type n with left hand,” she wrote. “Thanks for all my well wishes. No pain meds for me… They make me nauseous.”
Prior to the surgery, Brandi talked to In Touch about the surgery. “It’s a blessing the tumor is non-cancerous,” she said. “I’m anxious about the recovery but have great friends who will be playing nurse. I’m ready to get it over with and feel better.”
