16 & Pregnant’s Kristina (Robinson) Head pregnant with second child

16 and Pregnant Season 4 star Kristina Robinson had by far the most emotional story in the show’s history as her fiance, and father of her unborn child, Todd Hight, Jr. drowned off the coast of Texas during filming. Perhaps due in part to dealing with the stress from that tragedy, Kristina’s son Lukas (above) was born almost two months premature. (Little Lukas was a trooper and came through great!)

Making things more difficult, Kristina’s relationship with Todd’s family became strained (with some very harsh things said by Todd’s mother in particular).

But, Kristina turned things around dramatically by meeting a new man, TJ Head (seen with Kristina above). The two were married earlier this year (in either March or April) and judging from her demeanor online, Kristina Head seemed to quite happy with her new little family.

Well, now that little family is getting a little bigger because it was announced earlier today on Kristina’s official Facebook fan page that Lukas will be getting a little brother soon! Here’s the announcement:

We are happy to announce that Kristina and her husband TJ are expecting a son! Kristina is currently 21 weeks pregnant and is due mid January 2013. The little man already has a name which will be announced soon, maybe even once we get to 2,000 likes

Congratulations to Kristina and TJ! Just like most everyone else, we were shocked when the cast of Teen Mom 3 was revealed and Kristina was not one of them – her episode was so emotional and it left viewers (like me) desperately wanting to keep up with her story. And now, knowing she has seemingly found happiness with another man and is expecting again, I’m only more upset! But, perhaps its better for Kristina not to have the cameras around

In case you were keeping track at home, Kristina completes the cycle for 16 & Pregnant second pregnancies with one girl now from each season having or expecting a second child. (Obviously we are not counting twins) Season 3′s Jordan Ward gave birth to her daughter Arri Monroe Finder in November, with Season 2′s Brooke Smitherman-Tarrant and Season 1′s Ebony Jackson-Rendon both currently expecting their second child. We’ll need to consult Dr. Drew for actual statistics, but those percentages seem pretty good considering how many girls have been featured on the show. Plus, with the exception of Ebony, all the second pregnancies have occurred in families with seemingly stable environments.

I’m sorry, but yuck. She should not have babies on the brain; she already had one at the age of 16, who was born premature. What is she now? 17? She will have a long, hard road ahead of her if she keeps this up. A teenager with two babies. Enough said.

Lukas is so cute; he looks just like his mom. I hope that everything goes well with her and the baby, and I do hope that she’s happy. I’m not trying to knock anyone’s happiness, nor am I saying that Kristina should wallow in sadness for the rest of her life. However, it does seem like the current engagement/marriage was a bit rushed, especially since it hasn’t been that long since her first fiance passed away. She’s still only 17 (18?) years old. From what I saw on her episode and the reunion/after show, I think that she was really lonely. Again, I wish them all the best.

to be fair this is actually ebony’s 3rd pregnancy and don’t forget about Leah who miscarried her 3rd child with her now husband jeremy. just cause the babies didn’t make it doesn’t mean the girls never got pregnant again!

  Maybe for the fact that the father of her son is DEAD that’s why she married someone else. Also before you judge someone who doesn’t marry the father to their children maybe consider the fact that the kids father could be worthless or not in the picture!

Just because a teen parent is married at a teenage age and is expecting her second child doesn’t mean crap. If you have a very strong relationship and are financially and mentally capable of having another child there’s no harm. Leah messer and ebony you should be concerned abt but with brooke Kristina and Jordan they are all happily married with very strong relationships and are financially stable they’re going to be fine. Now if jenelle or amber wound up pregnant then there worry! Jordan Ward is the best mom out of all the casts all seasons! She has a very strong and happy relationship with the father of her child he is in the military and takes care of his family he’s a man unlike a lot of these pathetic sperm donors she also breast feeds and uses cloth diapers so she saves a lot! She’s very smart and is a great mother just because you get pregnant twice at a young age doesn’t make u a bad mom! People like jenelle amber kianna ect is the ones to worry abt! Heck jenelle was just saying a week ago how she can’t wait to start a family with kieffer! So wrong!

  are you talking about the girl who wanted to join the military her self and instead had to give it up so the guy could join only to lose her first kid and get pregnant with a second kid while her first child sits in foster home..or are you talking about the recent 16 and prego with the babys father being in the national guards

A quarter of teen mothers will have a second child within 24 months of the birth of their first first. They are more likely to have to become pregnant again as time goes on.

alot of these shows are filmed soo many months in advance that there not all the age that they were in the show if you ever notice online the age the kids turn on the show to the age they post on fb when people post

I couldn’t take her story seriously and didn’t find it very emotional because I knew before it aired that she was already married again. I try not to judge and understand maybe that’s her way to grieve and move on, but it was just hard to take her seriously.

I was 16 when I had my first daughter 17 when I had my second daughter…..now @ the age of almost 28 I have 5 wonderful children (with my husband of 14 years..) and no…I do not live on foodstamps and chip or medicaid thankfully I have a great job and so does my husband….what I’m trying to say is that no matter how old or young u are u can be a good parent I know that I am a good parent to all five of my kids….so Kristina keep ur head up girl…..no shame…….
