VIDEOS Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion fight between Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore
Last night’s Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion fight between Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore lived up to the expectations set by reports about the incident.
Things got heated earlier on in the show when Porsha claimed Kenya’s African prince isn’t real and then snatched the scepter Kenya was using as a prop. Tension elevated later when Kenya accused Porsha of cheating on ex-husband Kordell Stewart. (It was originally reported that Porsha flew off the handle after Kenya pulled out some sex toys and said Porsha was Kordell’s beard.)
“Look, you are not going to keep on talking about my character like you know what you’re talking about,” Porsha said to Kenya. “You are a sl*t from the ’90s.”
Kenya then pulled out a megaphone and exclaimed to Porsha, “You are a dumb hoe. Shut up.”
That’s when Porsha jumped from her seat and grabbed her nemesis by the hair. Watch it here…
Although Porsha was the one who issued the beat-down, she seemed more shaken up afterward.
“I can’t believe I did that. I can’t believe I did that,” Porsha repeated through her tears while NeNe Leakes and Phaedra Parks comforted her. “I’ve embarrassed myself… I can’t believe that rachet hoe made me go there.”
Meanwhile, Kenya quickly removed herself from the scene, saying, “I’m not going to sit here and get hit by somebody on TV. Either she goes or I go.”
Later, when Porsha was cleaning herself up in her dressing room, Andy Cohen came in for a chat.
“I’m embarrassed and I’m disappointed,” Porsha said. “But, first of all, I feel like I was literally pushed to the wall. There was just so much that I was going to be able to take at that moment.”
Andy ultimately sent Porsha home for the day and the other Housewives agreed to complete filming. Kenya explained her side of the story in a lengthy statement today…
There are many inflammatory statements made by cast members to and about each other particularly during the reunion tapings. Many have made untrue, denigrating, disparaging, and inflammatory statements against me in an attempt to provoke me, but I have never reacted in a violent way. My intellect and my brain are my most powerful weapons — not my fists. If people get so angry that they lose control and admittedly ‘black out’ and resort to violence, those persons must be held responsible for their actions. Being a cast member on a reality show does not absolve people of their rights…
For now, there’s no official word on whether Porsha will return for another season — especially considering she’s facing potential jail time for the charges Kenya filed. (At least her mug shot shows she has a future in modeling!)
