Never one to dodge any opportunity to be outrageous and fun, singer Katy Perry surrendered herself to to the infamous Nickelodeon green goo otherwise known as… SLIME!

Katy and actor Jonah Hill were all set to present the award for Favorite Movie Actress when Jonah revealed it was his birthday. Katy, always of a good-spirited and giving nature, had the crowd wish Jonah a happy birthday and then offered to allow him to present the award by himself. At that point Jonah admitted that it wasn’t his birthday and confessed that he doesn’t even have a birthday!
Katy Perry felt a bit betrayed and decided to present the award all by herself. She opened the box and waited for just a split second and then KABOOM! Green and yellow slime shot out with such force it actually knocked Katy down! Obviously she was expecting to be slimed, but I don’t know if she was expecting it to come out with such force! There’s no way that didn’t go up her nose, in her eyes and in her mouth!

Of course, Katy barely missed a step as she got back to her feet, smiling the entire time, and stumbled over to hug a previously unslimed Jonah Hill. Here’s the video:

Lady Gaga has “avant garde sexy” down pat, but there are few performers out there that can hang with Katy Perry as far as “fun sexy” goes! Even her slime suit was a super fun and sexy bright yellow plastic with large, boldly colored flowers all over it! And prior to somehow squeezing into that wetsuit, Katy’s Perry berries were on display for kids and adults alike in her wonderfully frivolous and sparkly red orange carpet outfit:
