Today’s lesson in irony comes from rapper Nicki Minaj, who was in the middle of a speech thanking her fans for their love and support during a concert when one of those fans decided to show his love and support up close by jumping up on stage and touching Minaj. Nicki stopped abruptly as security guards (I assume) rushed the man and carried him backstage.
Watch carefully in this first video as the big bouncer type guys are hauling the fan off and you will see a much less buff guy with his pants falling off come in and deliver what appears to be a kick to the leg of the fan, and then another flying punch to his head!

The incident happened during Nicki Minaj’s concert in Miami Tuesday night. She shared this seemingly tongue-in-cheek tweet after the show:

And then retweeted a fan who mentioned the incident:

I completely understand that you can’t be rushing performers on stage, and that security can’t take any risks with that sort of behavior. But, it appeared that the culprit was restrained and in control when this other guy comes in and kicks him and punches him. (I won’t even speculate what happened after they left our view.) In other words… Lawsuit. I give it two days.
