VIDEO Shia LaBeouf is a fan of motorcycles and/or creepily staring at people

Shia LaBeouf with a funny surprised look on his face
One motorcyclist had a strange encounter while recently cruising around Burbank, California: Upon pulling up to a red light, he sensed the burning gaze of the guy in the neighboring car.

“Not wanting to make eye contact I ignore him, but the dude is still staring at me,” explained YouTube user Philip J. Caputo, who frequently records his rides with a helmet camera. “So I look left, just to see what is going on. To balance things out, I then turn and look right. Turns out it was Shia LaBeouf. We exchanged pleasantries, the light turned green, and we drove on.”

(It’s worth noting the video has been viewed more than six million times since it was uploaded last week. That’s a bigger audience than some of Shia’s latest projects have attracted.)

As you can see in the video, Shia is pretty darn enamored with the dude’s bike. Even weirder, the biker said Shia was holding up traffic with his preoccupied stare.

“The strange part is that he is in a right turn only lane and should be turning right.”

Shia’s certainly revealed himself to be an odd duck these past few years. Then again, maybe the method actor was just getting into character… I guess we’ll understand more if we learn his next role is portraying a “perennially distracted driver with a passion for other guys’ motorcycles.”
