Is there any question that Miley Cyrus idolizes Adam Lambert? In addition to having an affinity for leather and spiked collars, the former Hannah Montana star tried to drum up a little publicity for her latest album by recreating Lambert’s controversial same-sex kiss from the 2009 American Music Awards during the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent last night.
Madam Glambert was performing the title track from her new CD, Can’t Be Tamed, when she grabbed one of the female dancers by the hair, pulled her head back and pretended to passionately lock lips. Yeah, I said “pretended.” Poor Miley can’t seem to do anything right. If you’re going to stir up controversy by kissing another girl on television the most important thing is that you actually kiss the girl on television, otherwise it’s just lame.

What’s next in her Lambert-mocking arsenal? Will she pretend to ruin Johnny (and June) Cash’s “Ring of Fire” and then pretend to disappear off the face of the Earth without another hit single? Please Miley, stop pretending and actually DO it!
