Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta‘s Lil’ Scrappy wasn’t showing much love in Atlanta this week! The rapper was arrested for for disorderly conduct after getting into a fight with another early morning RaceTrac patron.
According to TMZ, the brawl occurred shortly after 2:30 in the morning when some guy started hootin’ and hollerin’ at Scrappy’s lady of the moment, Bambi (shown together earlier in the night in the top picture). Scrappy wasn’t too pleased with the treatment, so he confronted the guy… With his fist.
“He was calling my girlfriend names and then put his hands on me,” he told TMZ. “So I had to lay them paws on him.”
However, other media outlets are telling different stories. According to Hip Hop Gossip Site, the fight stemmed from an argument about gambling debt. We’d be less inclined to believe this story because Scrappy didn’t respond to HHGS… But, they one-upped TMZ by obtaining a video.
Either way, the results for Scrappy were the same: He was carted off to jail. Law enforcement officials reported to TMZ that Scrappy was very cooperative. He was released a short while later.
Now Scrappy said he plans to move forward and focus on the upcoming season of Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta. He also commented on Twitter that people are blowing it out of proportion.
“It was just a fight people u knw human type shiznyee an u gotta knw I’m just like y’all no different unless u dnt knw God.”

Even if it was a misunderstanding, any charges Scrappy faces at this point have serious consequences. Because he is currently serving probation, any violation could send him to jail.
