VIDEO Jennifer Lawrence greets, comforts crying girl during red carpet appearance

Jennifer-Lawrence-London-Catching-Fire-premiere

Jennifer Lawrence was in London to promote the premiere of her film Catching Fire and while on the red carpet she did something to once again remind her army of fans (count me in) as to why they think so highly of the 23-year-old.

Jennifer noticed a young girl in a wheelchair wanting her attention and she took the time to have a conversation with, console after seeing her cry and take photos alongside the fan. In the process she had the barrier moved that separated her from those on hand so she could be next to the girl.

The top comment on YouTube dismissed this moment: “It’s sad to see all these people admiring Jennifer Lawrence just because she did a thing that should be normal.”

While I can kind of understand the sentiment, the fact of the matter is that most people in Lawrence’s position would not have done this. In addition, Jennifer has established a reputation as a genuinely kind, considerate and thoughtful person who has not changed after becoming a superstar.

Taking this into consideration, I do admire Jennifer for this touching moment and for continuing to be herself.
