Starting in January, Kate Gosselin and her eight kids will be back on TLC with new Kate Plus 8 episodes. Although the format of “mom and many kids go on crazy adventures together” hasn’t changed, the kids definitely have!
Older twins Mady and Cara are now teenagers who demand their own bedrooms and do quite sassy impressions of their mom. Meanwhile, the 10-year-old sextuplets are as rambunctious as ever.
“They just have minds of their own,” mom Kate said of the clan. “And I just surrender.”
The new episodes will show the family vacationing in Maine, updating their house, planning the twins’ 14th birthday party and more. There also promises to be some displays of Kate’s infamously limited patience. She admitted in the clip, “I feel so overwhelmed lately that it’s sometimes hard to stay positive.”
The new season of TLC’s Kate Plus 8 premieres on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 9/8c. Before then, Kate is competing for Camp Barnabas — a Christian camp for kids with disabilities, special needs and terminal illnesses — on the new season of Celebrity Apprentice. That premieres on NBC on Sunday, Jan. 4 at 8/7c.
