VIDEOS DMX tries to start a riot for charity in Colorado Springs
Joaquin Phoenix can only dream of being DMX. Check out this video of “X” showing up 90 minutes late for a charity event in Colorado Springs this weekend. Security guards try to prevent him from taking the stage, but DMX refuses to disappoint the huge crowd of at least 200 ravenous fans that have gathered in what appears to be an abandoned K-Mart and uses brute force to get behind the mic!
From another view:
D’oh! They turned the sound system off! And apparently DMX wasn’t prepared to deliver all-acoustic “Unplugged” versions of hits like “What These B*tches Want,” “Shorty Was The Bomb” and “Get At Me Dog.”
DMX rallied the troops by pointing to the security guards and chanting, “They’re waiting to lock us up! Don’t give it to ’em!”
To which the crowd responded with chants of “D-M-X” and “Let him go!”
Ummmmm…that’s all there is. I don’t know if he got arrested again for the incident or not. All I know is that if DMX is playing a charity event at a local abandoned department store, I’m going! (And I won’t worry about getting there on time.)
