VIDEO Brooks Ayers admits to cheating on Vicki Gunvalson
As we reported earlier, The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson’s controversial affirmation-loving boyfriend Brooks Ayers was caught on tape admitting that he cheated on Vicki with lots of women, including prostitutes. The tape, recorded by a wary business associate of Brooks in a Las Vegas hotel room, was obtained by The Enquirer and a portion of it has now made its way online via Radar Online.
Brooks kicks off the recording with one of his patented aphoristic statements that is nothing short of wonderfully terrible. “So, I’m not here to salvage my relationship with Vicki,” he says, “I’m here to salvage my relationship with myself.”
Later in the recording he is heard saying, “Did I mark on my calendar if we were off today or on today? If we were on today, I’ve been known to cheat, see, so bottom line, it hurt Vicki to know even if we weren’t together that I f**ked somebody else. That hurts her.” He then adds, “I didn’t mean to cross the line. I didn’t know. I thought it was appropriate.”
In summary, Brooks states that despite all his indiscretions, “that’s no reason to name me in a complaint with Vicki’s Vodka!”
In case you missed it, Brooks is currently involved in a lawsuit in which it is alleged he swindled his and Vicki’s business partner Robert Williamson III with some shady shifting of part ownership of their Vicki’s Vodka business venture. Vicki was later dropped from the suit, but Brooks remains on the hook with a court date looming.
Brooks said in a statement yesterday that the tape was released to The Enquirer as “a desperate attempt to seek publicity in a case that is nearing trial,” before adding, “The case is about business partners choosing not to be in business together. The case has nothing to do with my personal life.”
I’m just glad it was just a videotaped confession and not a Brooks Ayers sex tape. Although there is still time before the trial… #50ShadesOfAyers
