I’m not sure how else to introduce this mind-blowing clip from Norway’s Got Talent other than to say a 7-year-old girl named Angelina Jordan (complete with missing front tooth) absolutely nails a cover of Billie Holiday’s version of “Gloomy Sunday,” a devastatingly dark song often referred to as “The Hungarian Suicide Song” because of an urban legend than many folks have killed themselves while listening to it.
Did I mention she’s 7?
Angelina received a standing ovation from the audience, and what I assume is high praise from the judges’ table. I’m not sure exactly what the judges said because it’s not in English, but there is no need for translation for facial expressions like this:
