TEEN MOM Jade Cline says grandma Lori ‘cancer free’ after surgery

We have some great news to report as Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant star Jade Cline just revealed that her grandmother Lori had her scheduled surgery and she is now cancer free!

“My grandma’s surgery went great!” Jade shared in a text graphic on her Instagram story. “She’s cancer free!”

In a separate post, a fan asked how Lori was doing, and Jade provided more information:

She is in the hospital recovering from her surgery. Her fallopian tubes were in a knot causing her to lose blood flow, but they did a surgery similar to a hysterectomy and they removed any masses! She has no cancer! We are so happy. She should make a fine recovery in no time!

News doesn’t get much better than that!

Lori had the surgery on Friday, one week after Jade announced the diagnosis online. Jade explained that Lori’s cancer was initially in her uterus, but had since spread to her fallopian tubes. She also revealed that the family had started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to help pay for Lori’s mounting medical bills, and it appears as though the campaign is still active — just click the link if you would like to donate.

Just before Lori went in for the procedure on Friday, Jade shared a gallery of images of her in her bed along with Jade’s step-grandpa Chris:

“My Grammy is in surgery right now!” Jade captioned the gallery. “Can’t wait to give her a big hug once she gets out.❤️❤️❤️ Prayers please.”

Lori posted a coupe days before the surgery, expressing her gratitude to her husband Chris for being so supportive throughout the whole process. “My husband is the sweetest man ever and he is taking such good care of me. I’m feeling much better today a little nervous though surgery Friday morning

It’s so great to hear that Lori’s surgery went well and her prognosis is so great on the cancer front! We wish her a speedy recovery!
