Last night SNL took aim at Scientology with a hilarious spoof of the organization’s 1990 music video “We Stand Tall.” As the HBO documentary Going Clear pointed out, many of the high-ranking people featured in the original video went on the leave the church, and some are now extremely outspoken critics.

The infamously shocking Miley Cyrus did what I would have thought nearly impossible with her live performances on Saturday Night Live last night — she shocked me! MTV’s new reality series Catfish is getting a great deal of exposure thanks to Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o’s headline-grabbing relationship with girlfriend (aka a “catfish”) Lennay Kekua, who later turned out to be a hoax perpetrated by Ronaiah Tuiasosopo and his cousin Tino Tuiasosopo.
