A teenage girl was raped in front of a large crowd during a Keith Urban concert in Mansfield, Massachusetts, on Saturday night, according to police.

This was the same show that made previous headlines for having such a rowdy crowd that 20 people were hospitalized after getting way too drunk. The venue is an outdoor amphitheater called the Xfinity Center.

The rape ended when another female concert goer pushed the alleged attacker, 18-year-old Sean Murphy, off of the victim. He then fled the scene, police said.

Here’s the official statement from the Mansfield Police Department via Facebook:

Murphy entered a not guilty plea in court and was released on $10,000 bond. His attorney said:

“Put simply, this was a consensual act, not a sexual assault. There are no allegations of force or violence against him. This was a private act that regrettably occurred in a public place. Mr. Murphy deeply regrets this incident and I am sure the young woman does as well. The young woman was neither intoxicated nor overcome by drugs at the time. Mr. Murphy has no criminal history whatsoever.”

Neither Urban or his reps have made any official statement about what occurred other than telling CNN, “You are going to need to go through local authorities on this one.”

After the show Urban posted a video via YouTube (which has since been deleted) commenting on what he saw in the crowd. He said, “Up on the lawn tonight, that was nutso. It was so cool.”
