Photographer Tyler Shields unveiled two versions of the movie poster for the upcoming movie Inferno featuring Lindsay Lohan as adult film star Linda Lovelace. This officially marks the halfway point in the lifespan of the public’s interest in the film, which is scheduled to all but disappear just after the release of the grainy trailer showing Lindsay Lohan in suggestive poses and getting smacked around by her husband. Chances are the film won’t even be finished after that, and chances are nobody will notice.
The movie is based on Deep Throat actress Linda Lovelace’s life as a porn actress and a prostitute and eventual conversion into a born-again Christian feminist. It is based on Lovelace’s two biographies, Ordeal and Out of Bondage in which she claims she was enslaved and abused by her husband and pimp Chuck Traynor. It’s a movie that would have been an automatic success at the box office if it starred Charlize Theron or Julianne Moore, but instead it will feature the scram-braceleted tabloid train wreck that is Lindsay Lohan and will aspire to a Showgirls-esque B-movie cult following at best.
That being said, the posters are kind of fun!
