Lady Gaga is currently on a break from her “ArtRave: The Artpop Ball” tour and she took the opportunity to give herself a 1980s makeover, complete with a frizzy Cheresque brunette Lady Gagafro, matching accentuated dark eyebrows, fishnets, knee-high lace-up boots and a ferocious black panther sequin dress! #clawsup

Here are a couple of full-length shots of Lady Gaga rockin’ the old new wave CBGBtastic look on the streets of New York City:

Gaga actually debuted her-her-her darker hair, her-her darker hair yesterday on instagram, sharing this next photo sporting the tresses as well as a Coors t-shirt along with the tweet, “I am my new hair:”

That was followed by a couple more photos of herself out and about with the hair and wearing a shiny vintage Dolce and Gabbana (Dolce and Gagabbana?) leopard print robe dress formerly owned and worn by Daphne Guinness:

“Dolce and Gabbana archive as previously worn and owned by @therealdaphne,” Lady Gaga wrote along with the photo above.

Lady Gaga is no stranger to clothes worn by Daphne Guinness as the singing fashionista made headlines back in June of 2012 when she broke the record for the most money ever paid for an Alexander McQueen gown by shelling out £85,250 (more than $140,000!!!) for the ivory silk tulle empire line gown worn by Daphne Guinness in Harper’s Bazaar. “I am a passionate fashion collector and feel honored to support The Isabella Blow Foundation,” Lady Gaga tweeted soon after the auction. “Daphne Guinness is a pioneer for artistic women.”

And just in case fashion and makeup and crazy hair and all that doesn’t interest you, Mother Monster has you covered! She recently posted this makeup-free and presumably nude (or at most comfy-undied) bed selfie and wrote, “Day off sleepy girl:”

So what do you think of the bushy bushy brunette hairdo? I have to confess it has me wondering whether the carpet matches the drapes, if you know what I mean. (And I’m not just talkin’ color!) 😉
